Puma Signs With London Powerhouse Arsenal Jul 31, 2014 After sponsoring eight finalists in this year s FIFA World Cup, Puma has proved to have a good run with their soccer clubs. Now they re breaking into the sneaker industry, as they ve teamed up with Puma to collaborate on this pair of Puma Basket. New York-based designer Sophia Chang recently revealed that she will be working on a puma blaze of glory new collaborative project with PUMA entitled the Brooklynite collection, a full-blown capsule featuring apparel and kicks such as the PUMA Disc Blaze and PUMA Basketball. While it might sound odd that someone from Queens would be working on a collection that is based on another borough (her words, not ours), she jumped on the opportunity based on burgeoning creative scene in Brooklyn and how it has become the new hub for young people to go and get their dreams out.We had chance to speak with Chang on a variety of topics including her take on sneaker culture and much more.
